Q: I am just a kid and dont have any money. Can I still join in the Roll & Stroll?
A: Sure, kids under 16 are not required to give a minimum pledge however you must be accompanied by an adult.
Q: OK, my dog Spot wants to participate in the Roll & Stroll, is he allowed?
A: Yes, he does not have to pay anything. However, you are responsible to clean up anything that Spot may leave behind and he is not allowed to go through the line for lunch. He has to bring his own food.
Q: I am a rollerblader. Can I participate too?
A: Sure, but you MUST wear a helmet. Indian Creek Foundation will not be held responsible for any injury you may incur on this ride. Sorry.
Q: Who are the Mango Men?
A: They are a great band that has provided the Roll & Stroll with great music over the years. If you would like to find out more info, check out their website.
Q:What kind of food will be served and is it all you can eat?
A: We will have 6 foot hoagies, bagels, cookies, hot dogs, potato salad, etc. Think a picnic for 500 people. Yeah it is all you can eat.
Q: How do I pay for all of that good food?
A: The price is included in your minimum pledge. If you are not participating in the Roll & Stroll, the cost is $5.
Q: Are there any prizes given to the top fundraiser?
A: Yes, two roundtrip tickets to ANYWHERE in the continental U.S. to the top fundraiser.
Q: I am not sure I can raise that much, can I still get a prize?
A:
- Raise $100, $200 or $300 - Receive a gift certificate to a local bike shop
- Raise $150 - Receive the Official Roll & Stroll Bike Jersey (see home page for this year's jersey) as well as a gift certificate to a local bike shop
- Raise $1000 - Become part of Roll & Stroll exclusive new "$1000 Club" - receive a $1000 Club trophy as well as having your name on the $1000 Club Plaque
